Business Development Manager

This new role has been created due to strong growth within this organisations major account base. We are now seeking a new sales/ account manager to manage a portfolio of accounts to whom we supply IT hardware and services..

The role will involve:-

  • Cold calling to generate new business
  • Manage the full sales cycle, visiting the client, understanding their requirements, developing proposals and closing business deals
  • Being the first point of contact for all customer enquiries.
  • Generating and providing customer quotations around hardware, software and licensing.
  • Proactively following up on customer quotations to try and covert proposals into sales.
  • Providing advice on products and services, maximising cross selling and up selling opportunities.
  • Managing order fulfillment with vendors and dealers.
  • Working with marketing to develop new web based campaigns and promotions

You will need to have a good knowledge of IT products and experience in a sales position within the IT industry. You will have excellent communication skills, both oral and written, with energy, confidence and passion about technology.

You will be familiar with achieving sales budgets on a monthly and quarterly basis and have a solid understanding of the RFI and RFT process and working to attain solid GP. You will need to be able to demonstrate the ability to generate revenue from scratch and have carried a monthly target between $60,000 and $100,00 per month in straight revenue.

An excellent salary + super and bonuses will be offered to the successful candidate, commensurate with experience.
